This Is What Happens When You Recite Ayatul Kursi

Ayat Al-kursi is regarded as one of the most powerful ayahs in the quran, because when it is recited the greatness of God is believed to be confirmed, the person who recites this Ayah morning and evening will be under protection of Allah from Evil of the jinns. this is also known as The Daily adkhar. ayat al-kursi is one of the most highlighted Ayah in the Holy Quran. Muslims around the world recite this Ayah in abundance, if you’re going out and you recite it once, Allah Almighty sends a group of angels to protect you from all kinds of evil that comes into your way.

In sahih Muslim, Ubayy bin kab (r) reported, the messenger of Allah peace be upon him said,
Abu Mundhir! do you know which Ayah in Allah’s book is the greatest, I said Allah in his messenger Knows Best he peace be upon him again said, do you know which Ayah in Allah’s book according to you is the greatest?

Abu Mundhir replied it is Allah,
ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ٱلْحَىُّ ٱلْقَيُّومُ ۚ
there upon, he (peace be upon him) patted me in the chest and said Rejoice by your knowledge, oh Abu Mundhir, I may this knowledge be a source of respect honor and benefit to you, Allah there is no God but he the living the all-sustaining neither dozing overtakes him nor sleep to him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on the Earth. who can intercede with him, without his permission, he knows what is before them, and what is behind them, while they Encompass nothing of his knowledge, accept what he Wills, His kursi extends to the heavens and to the Earth, and it does not worry him to look after them.

He is the Al-High, the Supreme.
in another Hadith in bukhari, narrated By Abu Hurairah Allah’s messengers (saw) Deputed me to keep sadaqah (Al-fitr) of Ramadan. A comer came and started taking handfuls of the foods of the sadaqa stealthily, I took hold of him and said, by Allah I will take you to Allah’s messenger (saw) he said I am needy and have many dependents and I am in great need. I released him in the morning Allah’s messenger (saw) asked me what did your prisoner do yesterday. I said to Allah’s messenger the person complained of being needy and having many dependents, so I pitted him and let him go.

Allah’s messenger sallallahu alaihi wasallam said indeed he told you a lie and he will be coming again, I believe that he would show up again as Allah’s messenger (saw) had told me that he would return.

So I waited for him watchfully when he showed up and started stealing handfuls of food stuff, I got a hold of him again and said I will definitely take you to Allah’s messenger (saw) he said, leave me, for I am very needy and have many dependents, I promise I will not come back again. I pitted him and let him go.
In the morning Allah’s messenger sallallahu alaihi wasallam asked me what did your prisoner do, I replied oh Allah’s messenger he complained of his great need and of too many dependents, so I took pity on him and set him free.

Allah`s apostle said, verily, he told you a lie and he will return. I waited for him attentively for the third time, and when he came and started stealing handfuls of the food stuff, I got a hold of him and said I will surely take you to Allah’s messenger (saw), as it is the third time you promise not to return, yeah you break your promise and come, he said forgive me and I will teach you some words with which Allah will benefit you, I asked what are they, he replied whenever you go to bed recite Ayatul-kursi

ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ٱلْحَىُّ ٱلْقَيُّومُ ۚ لَا تَأْخُذُهُۥ سِنَةٌۭ وَلَا نَوْمٌۭ ۚ لَّهُۥ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۗ مَن ذَا ٱلَّذِى يَشْفَعُ عِندَهُۥٓ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِۦ ۚ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ ۖ وَلَا يُحِيطُونَ بِشَىْءٍۢ مِّنْ عِلْمِهِۦٓ إِلَّا بِمَا شَآءَ ۚ وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ ۖ وَلَا يَـُٔودُهُۥ حِفْظُهُمَا ۚ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَلِىُّ ٱلْعَظِيمُ
[2:255]

till you finish the whole verse, if you do so Allah will appoint a guard for you who will stay with you and know Satan will come near you till morning, so I released him.
